Sorry for the double post, but... haha. I write a comic called SLAP (Sounds Like A Plan). It's a gag comic about myself and my friends. We started up a competition amongst ourselves: we have to read fanfictions, and try not to laugh or have any sort of violent reaction. The one with the most reactions loses.

We read all of the original My Immortal fan fiction. And we recorded it. Five hours worth of us busting our guts and our minds because of this fiction. So, after having read the whole thing myself, I have but this to say:

I am so, so sorry that you had to be a part of this atrocity. Regardless of whether or not you intend to continue this project, I wanted to give you my deepest sympathies. XD; And best of luck for the future.

I really hope you come back to this! It's amazingly well-drawn, and even when you fuck up something [usually the anatomy/proportions], you actually notice it and comment on it before the viewer even notices it. Seriously, if you don't come back to this, PLEASE produce a web comic or printed medium comic!

I spent a few minutes reading this comic and I will say it was the best few minutes ive spent in a long time all I can say is I hope you continue updating and if Tara Gillespie is a real person as you claim (I and many others have reason to believe she is not) for the sake of the internet god knows that ED(encyclopedia Dramatica) no longer exists any more we need something else to laugh at.

This is without a doubt the best parody of MI I've ever come across. I read the original (and killed a couple of brain cells while doing so), so I was a bit... reluctant almost to read this. But I'm glad I did, this is just freakin' awesome! I hope you continue with it, I'd love to see more of this.

I just discovered this site and I couldn't stop laughing. The comic is absolutely ridiculously awesome. Having just recently heard of the My Immortal fanfiction I started to read it and it's difficult to get through - this comic made it so much easier. Plus, it's very well made. I hope to see more from you soon but in the mean time, thank you for posting what you have so far.

I would LOVE to know what she looks like, and see some of her other works, for comparison (and admittedly, for entertainment).

YOU set up an entire website to create this comic, leaving just because you got "bored" of it is not a valid reason to cease updating. You took it upon yourself to write this comic, you knew that My Immortal is a long fiction, you should of been sure that you really wanted to do this before creating an entire website dedicated to the cause. Now it is just wasted space on the internet.
Another thing, you also mentioned this is not your best work, well if you know that, why don't you take it upon yourself to make it better? You obviously see things wrong with it, fix the things that you think need to be.
You also said that you don't want to be known as the girl who knows Tara, well, creating this website, you already have given yourself that title. We all know now that you know Tara, you made no effort to hide it internally, why start now? Also answering questions about Tara...wouldn't you be curious about the person who wrote the worst fanfiction in the world if you didn't already know her already? People have a right to ask questions if they want.
One last point, you said you created this parody after an argument with Tara, wouldn't it been a lot more impactful to just release her identity in the first place? People have been parodying her story for years; having her identity released would be a lot scarier than somebody writing a comic of my already crappy work.

I second ElyOfIce. You should have realized how long this project would be, and planned accordingly. x.x Also, it's nice that you're protecting Tara's identity, but is it hard to understand people's curiosity? She's an enigma of internet culture!
If you ever stumble back to this site, could you answer something? "Is Tara on Pottermore? If so, what house was she in?" :D

I can't say I've ever read My Immortal, and from the way this sounds, that's a good thing. Your comic would be pretty funny on its own, but I assume most of the laughs come from My Immortal references, so I'm SOL there. Still, I don't think I could actually read MI to begin with, I'd probably end up doing something stupid like torching my hard drive to get away from the Goth. I hope you continue this comic, it's almost as good as the professional ones.
